License
Different parts of this site are under different terms. Articles, bits and the code samples in them are licensed, and photographs are all rights reserved. This page sums the terms up. Where it differs from the license texts themselves, the license texts control.
Articles and bits
The text of the articles and bits is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC 4.0). Its legal code is at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/legalcode.en. You may copy, share and adapt the text for noncommercial purposes if you meet the conditions in section 3 of the license. Section 1 of the license defines NonCommercial.
Section 3 of the license requires, among other things, that you credit the author, keep the copyright notice, say that the text is licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0 with a link to the legal code, and say if you changed the text. The credit asked for is "Rishi Kumar Chawda" with the address of the page you took the text from. The copyright notice to keep is the one in the footer of that page, which names the year the article or bit was published.
To use the text commercially, ask for permission first through the contact page.
Code samples
The code samples in the articles and bits are licensed under the MIT license below, instead of CC BY-NC 4.0. In the notice, "the Software" means those code samples. Keep the notice in all copies or substantial portions of the code. The year of a code sample's copyright is the year of the article or bit it appears in, shown in the footer of that page.

What the licenses do not cover
The terms above cover only what Rishi Kumar Chawda wrote and made. They do not cover photographs, quotations, other people's material (including code and images), and images generated with AI tools. Those stay with their owners or under their own terms. A header image that its article credits to anyone other than the author is one of these.
Photographs
All photographs taken by Rishi Kumar Chawda are all rights reserved, wherever they appear on this site: in the gallery, in articles and in bits. No reproduction, distribution or use of such a photograph, in whole or in part, is allowed without written permission. To ask, use the contact page. The gallery's copyright section states the terms for the photographs displayed there.
What the law already allows
The CC BY-NC 4.0 license does not limit uses that copyright law allows without permission, such as fair use or fair dealing (section 2(a)(2) of the license).
