The best engineers I know aren’t perfect, but they’re consistent. They review, refactor, and test, even when nobody’s watching. Excellence is just the result of showing up and doing the right thing, over and over. It’s not glamorous, and it’s rarely celebrated, but it’s what makes teams and products great.
